By placing an order on www.snakewoodeditions.com, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

You warrant that all information provided by you is accurate. We reserve the right to refuse sales to certain countries or individuals, in which case any advance payments will be refunded.

Digital products and tax policy

As of January 1, 2015, any seller of digital products to European customers must charge VAT based on the customer’s location. In accordance with the 2015 EU VAT legislation, we are required to provide two non-conflicting pieces of evidence to determine the applicable VAT rate for digital goods sales.

Snakewood Editions is legally obligated to retain sale and customer information for a minimum of 10 years. By accepting these Terms and Conditions, you agree to provide correct information. We will collect the following data:

  • The country of sale
  • The type of product
  • The date of sale
  • The local VAT
  • The amount paid in local currency
  • The date and method of payment
  • The invoice
  • The client’s name
  • Information to determine the consumer’s country, such as IP address and billing information

This information will be stored for tax purposes, and we will NEVER share it with third parties.

Return/refund policy for digital products

Please note that we do not accept refunds on any digital products. If you experience difficulties downloading a product, please contact us, and we will provide it through alternative methods.

Terms of use for digital products

When you purchase access to digital products (such as recordings or musical editions), you are acquiring a non-transferable, non-exclusive right to access the content. You may not publish or share the digital products or your login details with others.

Permitted uses

(a) The digital products are for personal use only and may be accessed solely on your personal devices. Redistribution, resale, or licensing of the digital products is prohibited.

(b) Device restrictions: Only you may use the digital products for personal purposes, although you may transfer files among your personal devices, such as your phone, tablet, laptop, or desktop computer.

(c) Any additional permitted uses must be approved in writing by Snakewood Editions.

How we manage your purchases

WooCommerce

We utilize WooCommerce to manage the products on our website. While you browse our site, we track:

  • Products you have viewed to show you items of interest
  • Your location, IP address, and browser type for estimating taxes and shipping
  • Your shipping address to provide shipping estimates before you place an order

We use cookies to track cart contents while you browse.

When you make a purchase, we will request the following information:

  • Name
  • Billing address
  • Shipping address
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Credit card/payment details
  • Optional account information, such as username and password

We use your information for purposes including:

  • Sending account and order information
  • Responding to inquiries, including refunds and complaints
  • Processing payments and preventing fraud
  • Setting up your account
  • Complying with legal obligations, such as tax calculations
  • Improving our store offerings
  • Sending marketing messages, if you opt to receive them

If you create an account, we will store your name, address, email, and phone number to expedite future orders.

We typically retain your information for as long as necessary for the purposes we collected it for, unless legally required to keep it. For example, order information is stored for 10 years for tax and accounting purposes, including your name, email address, and billing and shipping addresses.

Payments

We securely manage your payments via PayPal and Mollie.

PayPal

You can use PayPal for checkout, and your data will be securely managed by them. Click here for their policy.

We also use Mollie for other payment options. Please refer to their policy here.

Direct bank transfer

You can make payments directly into our bank account. Please use your Order ID as the payment reference. Your order will not be shipped until the funds have cleared.

Important: Please complete the transfer within 15 days; after this period, your order will be automatically canceled.

Security

We have implemented security measures to protect against the loss, misuse, or alteration of your information. All orders are processed via a secure server (SSL), and credit card details are never sent via email.

We do not store any credit card information on our servers or at our physical location. All credit card information used for purchases is processed securely by PayPal and Mollie.

Important Shipping Information

Average Delivery Times:

  • Netherlands: 2 days
  • Europe: 5 to 13 days
  • Worldwide: 9 to 19 days

All customers will receive a tracking code once the product has been shipped.

Please note that Snakewood Editions will not cover any potential customs fees for deliveries outside the EU.

At the moment, we do not sell any type of product (digital or physical) to Israel.
Additionally, we do not ship physical CDs to the United States.
